Requirements for the art history minor: 21 credits

A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor.

SUPPORTING COURSES AND RELATED AREAS: 15 credits (sem: 3–8)

ART H 130 GA;US;IL (3) African, Oceanic, and Native American Art

Art H 140 GA;IL (3) Introduction to the Art and Architecture of the Mayas, Aztecs, and Incas

ART H 301 GA;IL (3) Egyptian and Mesopotamian Art

ART H 315 GA:IL (3) Architecture and Art of South and Southeast Asia

ART H 320 GA;IL (3) Chinese Art

ART H 330 GA;IL (3) Islamic Architecture and Art

ART H 335 GA;IL (3) African Art

Select 6 credits of 001- to 400-level ART H courses (except ART H 100 GA)

Select 6 credits of 400-level ART H courses)

(Note: Students are encouraged to use the supporting courses to focus their studies in one or two areas of art history and should discuss these course selections with an art history faculty member.)
